This is Tommy Topaz with Wildflower Lupine.

The amazing part of the photo is that they are touching, which is something Lupine has avoided. Apparently, she thought Tommy had cooties. Lupine’s littermate, Pozy, has similar feelings about her Gem sibling but Starry does not care — she is a cuddler, like it or not 😂

I wanted to share what Jennifer said recently about Tommy Topaz:

“Tommy is such a wonderful puppy. He is outgoing and playful but also calm and thoughtful. He is very driven to learn and loves to ‘work.’ The other dogs haven’t had a single issue with him or each other since he came home and he and Lupine have a morning play routine which is hysterical because it doesn’t involve any physical contact.

Tommy has gone to a lot of places: the Farmer’s Market, some stores, the coffee shop, out for bagels, the library, etc. and he’s enjoyed all of the people and activities. He’s met a few kind dogs and that has gone well, too. He goes to work with me almost every day now that the weather is cooler and he loves walking and socializing. He REALLY loves children though. In the future I may think about doing some therapy work with him with kids at work. His whole body lights up when he sees small kids. He’s so much fun to play with and teach but also a love to just sit and snuggle with.”
